The idea behind the E-Learning Centre is to take all necessary action and engage in all forms of activities aimed to make e-learning one of fully fledged academic educational methods at the University.
Our every-day activities focus on the following areas:
- offering advice to all CUE teaching units in the systemic and systematic planning and organizing of e-classes
- conducting trainings and consultations for university teachers in preparing and conducting on-line classes
- assistance in preparing e-materials and teaching aids
- support for students attending e-classes
- administration of CUE's e-platform
- creating new and improving the existing IT tools applied in modern teaching methods
- promotion and dissemination of new forms of university education based on electronic media (for example through participation in econet and e-nauczanie.net, cooperation with the E-Learning Scientific Club)
- coordinate e-learning projects implemented at CUE, engaging in the tasks performed by Academic E-Learning Associations
- participation in European e-education projects
Simultaneously, we conduct research on the methodology of designing and didactics of e-courses as well as the management, organization and economics of e-education undertakings.
