The IT Center laboratories are designated for use by current students, faculty, and staff of the Cracow University of Economics. Computer science classes and homework activities are intended as primary use of the labs.
Computer Labs Location
IT Center Labs are located at the building A
- main floor, level 0, rooms: 07, 09, 013, 014
- first floor, rooms 115, 116, 117, 118, 121, 122
- second floor, room 201
- third floor, room 301a
Computer Labs Hours for individual work
Generally, the individual work is possible on the week days outside the periods booked for classes. Please double check the labs availability for personal work on the specific day with the Labs Management Office, building A room 06.
Computer Labs` weekly schedule for individual work
Students who wish to use the lab for individual work should present their valid student ID card or student book.
Upon entering the lab room please check the room availability status indicated by the lamp installed above the entrance door:
GREEN light - means, you can enter
RED light or no light - means, do not enter, the class is in progress
Computer Labs Policy and Rules
Please be informed, that for the safety and protection purposes there is a surveillance system installed on the premises.
If you do have a scheduled class please keep waiting for your professor outside the IT Center in front of the glass entrance door. Enter when asked by the professor or lab operator.
Students are required to obey the Lab rules, in particular:
- Don't do anything that might harm the labs equipment. In the case of computer terminal malfunction please report it to the operator on duty at room 06 or lab administrator at room 08.
- No food or drink at computer workstations
- No oversize belonging, e.g. suitcase, coat, umbrella
- Cell phone conversations are not allowed
- Keep sound levels to a minimum
- No disruptive behavior
